About MAPS Israel

MAPS Israel (n.516398716) is an Israeli non-profit organization whose mission is to develop psychedelic research and educational programs based in public health, informed by medical, cultural and legal knowledge. Collaborating with MAPS (The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies), a non-profit American organization founded in 1986, MAPS Israel aims to promote and support innovative treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), treatment-resistant depression (TRD), eating disorders, and other medical conditions. Additionally, MAPS Israel actively supports the training of therapists in Psychedelics assisted psychotherapy.
Currently, MAPS Israel is actively advancing and developing studies that explore the combined effects of psychotherapy and psychedelics. These studies are conducted with the approval and cooperation of the Israeli Ministry of Health and mental health hospitals, positioning MAPS Israel at the forefront of research in this field.
Through our psychedelic research and educational projects, we actively strive for the participation of marginalized groups such as Ethiopian Jews and Arabs in Israel.
